If you are a race fan, you’ll want to make sure you don’t miss the Night of Fire, Saturday, June 21st. It’s going to be a blast (literally and figuratively)! Along with the highly competitive bracket racing, where the 32 best racecars will qualify to run in the Pro and Super categories, The event will feature Jet powered dragsters, funny cars, and trucks; along with wheelstanders, pro mods, and Altereds.  Jet cars, which are currently pushing (and exceeding) the 300 mph mark at the quarter mile, will be quite the spectacle at this night race.  Fans especially won’t want to miss Les Shockley, who will be piloting his “Super Shockwave” Truck down the quarter mile with TWIN jet engines.  The two engines, which put out a total of 25,000 horsepower, also drink up 80 gallons of diesel fuel -- PER RUN!!

The last event of the night will be “Benny the Bomb,” who, as the name implies, blows himself up.  You have to see it to believe it, because he really does blow himself up. Get your sunglasses out, bring out the whole family, and prepare yourself for a wild and spectacular explosion!
